Gaming: Pulled Pork

Hey everybirdy. Today, we are going to be making a recipe that is honestly one of my favorites. I have this one at least once a month, or at least whenever we have some sort of pork in the house. And yes, you can make pulled pork with canned pork if you need to.

But, before we talk about the recipe in question, we are going to be looking at the character in question. Mister, Gaming (pronounced Gah-mi-ng). He is a four-star character from Liyue, and he came out a few years ago during the same time of the Lunar New Year. He is a professional Wushu Dancer. He has a dragon puppet that he dances with. And I have to be honest here, he has one of the most beautiful idle animations in the game. It turns black, and you just see the colors of his puppet dancing in the night.

This recipe is again really simple. If you have pork and don’t know what to do with it, this is the best way to eat it, in my opinion.

The first thing you want to do is cook your pork. You can do this on the stovetop, or you can do what I do and cook it in the Instant Pot for about.

But the process is different depending on what type of pork you are using.

But the ingredients you use are very simple.

  • Pork
  • BBQ sauce
  • Bread of your choice – I have used sliced bread and hamburger buns.
  • Cheese, if desired – I always want cheese on my Pulled Pork

And then, on the side, you can go with one of two classics.

  1. Mac & Cheese – You can make it from scratch, but if you want a fast and easy dinner, boxed mac & Cheese is equally great.
  2. Applesauce. Again with the mac and cheese. You can make the applesauce from scratch, but you don’t have to. Understand the time you have (yes, trust me when I say I know what that means. I have time blindness too.)

Let’s say that you have an Instant Pot and want to make pulled pork for dinner for your family.

When we get a pork loin, we save the ends of the pork loin so that they can be used for this dish.

We section everything off. Usually enough for pork chops for at least two nights (that means 14 pork chops).)

You are going to place your pork in the Instant Pot and pressure cook it for about 40 minutes. Let it naturally release for about 10 – 15 minutes and then release the pressure.

While the meat is cooking, you can decide on what side you want. Boil your water for your mac and cheese.

Once the Instant Pot is done pressurizing, take off the lid and add in your barbecue sauce of choice.

Shred the pork with a fork or tongs. And let that sit in the off Instant Pot for a bit. While you wait for your Mac and cheese to cook.

Again, you can do this with canned pork. Something that you can get from the Food banks from time to time. And it tastes great. Just get a large pan with a lid. Put the canned pork in the pot. Once it starts steaming, you can add in your barbecue sauce.

Place the pulled pork on your bread of choice. Or you can be like and choose not to have bread. Not because you’re free or anything, but because bread is hard to eat. And when I say that, I am not saying that I have like an allergic reaction; it’s just that I don’t care much for the bread at the stores. I have no probably eating the bread that I make from scratch.

Now you can add your mac and cheese and/or applesauce. And before anyone says anything, yes, I know that some people might say that this recipe is a bit childish. To those people, okay. Adults can have comfort meals too.

I hope that you like this recipe. There are definitely going to be more like this in the future. Feel free to check out some of my previous recipes. Remember to like and subscribe for more unique recipes and stories. Thank you.
