Hey Everybirdy. Today is one of my all time favorite foods. But sadly I live in a land locked place in the United States and only have access to frozen or canned fish. However, That doesn’t stop me from loving fish in so many different ways.

Before we talk about the recipe. We have to talk about the character in question. Kokomi is the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island. She is the one that is in charge in this Island in Inazuma. She states that her favorite food is sushi. But being in area that I live, I can’t really make sushi. So I decided that I would make something that I think she would like because it is simply and easy.

This is one of those recipes that I can’t give you an exact measurement because it all depends on how many fillets you are doing and many different things. You are going to need:

  • Flour
  • Cornstarch
  • Salt
    Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Option other spice cayenne pepper, Gocchuggan, or some other chili
  • Opitional Ponko
  • Eggs

I am using an air fryer for this recipe simply because it is less dangerous than pan frying or deep frying. I don’t need any more burns on my body thank you very much.

You are going to grab two bowls. One for your eggs. The other for your flour mixture.

Once you have them in the bowls, you can start assembly your fish. Dunk the fillet in the egg mixture than into the flour. If you want really crunchy you can do that mixture again.

Air fry them for about 20 minutes or until they look done.

My sister is determined that we cannot have fish fry without tartar sauce. And to make that you need Mayo, Mustard, and Chopped up pickles. Combine everything together in a separate bowl and enjoy.

Now you can make your own homemade frys. You would just need to wash your potatoes, slice them however you want and season them with whatever seasoning you wish.

However, there is nothing wrong with buying fries or tater tots. I believe with this dish we had tater tots because that is my dad’s favorite way of eating potatoes. He is not very picky and well it all types of potatoes but when he is sick always says that tater tots sound good to him to eat.

Now you can plate it and enjoy.

I hope that you like this recipe. There are definitely going to be more like this in the future. Feel free to check out some of my previous recipes. Remember to like and subscribe for more unique recipes and stories. Thank you.
