Hello, every birdy. Today we are going to be making a recipe that is so tasty and perfect for a fall night. It doesn’t take that long, and if you have the grapes in your freezer you can just through them into your pot or your instant pot. I am going to explain how to make this recipe in both the instant pot and the stove pot because I understand that not everyone out there has an instant pot, and that is okay.

But first, let’s talk about the character that really wanted to come home one day. I got 2 copies of him right back to back, meaning I got a C1 of this character when I just wanted a zombie child.

Diluc (Dee-luke) is the owner of Dawn Winery. He says that his favorite food is grape juice. And even though he owns a winery, he doesn’t like alcohol. So I thought that this recipe was perfect for him.

This recipe makes 4 servings so adjust accordingly. I ended up doubling it, but that is just because of the fact that I have six other adults in my house.

The recipe and the measurements will be in the description down below. Feel free to check it out.

The ingredients you will need are:
- 4 cups of water
- 2 cups of green or white grapes, that are seedless
- 3 Tbsp Orange zest
- ¼ cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
- ¼ cup of sugar
- 10 cloves – I used about 2 tsp of ground cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks or 3 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1 Cardamom – I omitted this and it still tasted really good
- 1 inch of ginger – 1 tsp of ground ginger
- You can have the orange slices for serving

We are first going to discuss how to this recipe on the stovetop.
You are going to get a saucepan that has a thick bottom and bring the 2 cups of water to boil.

Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat to medium.
Now you are going to want to add the orange zest and the grapes to the boiling water. Cook until the grapes are soft. This should take about 5-10 minutes.

Remove the grapes from the heat. Strain the liquid. Pour it back into the saucepan and keep it to the side. Cool the grapes and the zest before putting them in the blender.
Add the strained pulp back to the liquid in the pan. Then add the orange juice, sugar, and spices. Cover the pot with the lid.

Simmer the mixture on medium-low heat for about 20-30 minutes.

Remove from heat. Remove the spices and the ginger from the drink. If you are using ground spices you can skip this step. Let it cool for a while.
Serve in glasses.

For the instant pot version of this recipe, you are going to use the same ingredients. And we are going to be using the same technique that we used for the Instant Pot Apple Cider.
Place all of your ingredients in your Instant Pot.

You are going to pressure cook the grapes for 10 minutes and then let it naturally release.
Open the lid once the timer goes off. Stir it well.

Place a bowl and a strainer on the container. And gently and carefully transfer the contents to the bowl. You do not want to pick up the inner liner because 1) it will be hot, and 2) it is dangerous to pick it up.
Have a separate container for the grape sauce or pulp and use that for something else.

Server while hot or cold.
This recipe was very strange while drinking it. While you are drinking it you have to remind yourself that this is not mulled wine. It is in fact mulled grape juice. With no alcohol added to it.

Having the instant pot in our house has given me a lot more confidence in making certain things. Things like jellies/jams and ciders. Where on the stove top they take a lot more time and sometimes I don’t have the time.
I hope that you liked this recipe. Feel free to check it out for yourself. See you in the next post. Thank you.
