Hey, every birdy. Today, we are going to make a classic recipe. A recipe that I have changed with whatever I have in the house. And there is a reason I chose this recipe for this character.
The character in question is another Natlanese (a character from Natalan) character. Chasca (Chaw-ss-ka) is a character who is taken care of by fire birds in Natlan. Because of this she eats more bird-like food. While I was reading her favorite food she says that because she grew up by the sea, she ate a lot of raw fish. Well, i dont really have access to raw fish. But the one fish that I almost always have in my pantry or in my fridge is tuna fish. So I thought teaching you all how to make tuna fish salad would be perfect.
Tuna fish salad is one of the easiest things that someone can be taught. I mean my parents were determined to teach us how to make simple recipes when we were in high school so that we would be able to cook for ourselves. Simple things like mac and cheese, grilled cheese, a fried egg and toast, and tuna fish salad.
For this recipe you will need:
Bread
Tuna fish
Classic dressing: Mayo and a little bit of mustard
Optional or if you don’t have Mayo in the house that day: ranch
A crunch. This can be a few pickles or celery.
You are going to rinse the top of your tuna fish can and open it.
Place the tuna in a container with a lid in case you are only making enough for one. You might have leftovers.
Now add a plop of Mayo and a little bit of Mayo to your tuna. You might be different from my mom and me. We both don’t care much for mustard. But things like this need a little bit of mustard.
I have also made tuna fish salad without Mayo. Simply because we were out that day and I don’t care much for going to the grocery store when I only need one thing. So that day I decided to make a tuna fish salad with ranch instead of Mayo and Mustard. It ended up being really good. And I still make it every now and again.
Dice up your crunchy add it. This can be a few slices of pickles or some small bits of celery. Or if you have it some celery would be good too.
You don’t have to have this tuna fish salad on some bread. You can eat whatever way you want. For me, I have eaten it on bread and just in a salad. That is a perfect light summer meal that we as a family have on repeat especially during the 80+F days.
I hope that you like this recipe. Feel free to check out this and other recipes like it. Thank you in advance. See you in the next recipe
