Shenhe: Raspberries in a Cloud

image

Hello, every birdy. Today we are making something that I didn’t really ever think about making. Not because it was extremely hard, but because it would have been expensive. The emphasis here is on the “would have been.” Now, however, with the price of everything I think the most expensive thing that I made this year was the Meringue Cookies.

First, we have to talk about the character and why I chose this recipe for them. The Character in question is one who has not had her first rerun, in over a year: Shenhe (Shin-He).  I chose this recipe for her because she was raised by a famous Adeptus named Cloud Retainer. I will be honest here with you all, I don’t know much about her character, and I for one will probably never pull for her, IF she has a rerun because I have a level 90 C6 Rosaria. (For those who don’t play Genshin, I have another character with the same element and weapon type as her. And that character is fully built, and I have many copies of her.)

There really isn’t any specific recipe. You just need three things:

  • A pint of Whipping cream
  • Raspberries
  • About ½ cup of powdered sugar, you can add more if needed

The first thing you want to do before you start making the dessert is grabbed a metal mixing bowl and the whisks you will use. And place them in your freezer for about 15 to 30 minutes.

This helps the whipping cream form stiff peaks faster. I have started doing this with meringues too and it works so well. You do this so that you know that there is no moisture in the bowl at all. And just be careful taking it out of the freezer, because it will be colder than a glass bowl.

Pour your whipping cream into a bowl, and then whisk it until stiff peaks form. This takes anywhere from 2-5 minutes depending on the temperature in your house.

While the mixer is on you are going to slowly add in your powdered sugar. If you want it to be a little bit sweeter you can add some more.

Fold in your raspberries. You can use any fruit that you have in your house. We had raspberries and I wanted to use them up.

You can either chill until you eat it or serve it immediately. It will taste amazing whichever way you like.

I hope that you liked this recipe. Feel free to check it out for yourself. See you in the next post. Thank you.
