Hello, every birdie. I don’t like throwing food away. If I get fresh produce in the house. I am more likely to use that than canned fruits or veggies. Today’s recipe is no different. We are going to be making a Limeade Sugar Cookie.

This recipe is just something that I kinda put together in a hurry. I wanted something sweet but didn’t want to do my usual go-to of brownies.

You only need 5 ingredients. 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 egg, lime zest, and lime juice. For both the lime juice and the lime zest I didn’t really measure it. I kinda just eyeballed it. So depending on the size of your limes, you may need more or less. I was using Key limes (which are really so small) so I used the juice from about 10-12. And the zest from about 4-5.

Once you have all of your ingredients, you are going to preheat your oven to 350. Spray and line your cookie sheets.
Mix all of your ingredients together, until combined.

Roll the cookies into 1-inch balls. If you don’t have a cookie scoop, the best way to measure cookies is to grab two small teaspoon spoons. And it will be the same size for each cookie.

Trust me, you don’t want to go and serve your cookies and people are picking out the bigger cookies. It is annoying when you have people fighting and/or crying because they have a small cookie, or so-in-so has a bigger cookie than they do. And yes I am serving my desserts to six other adults.

Bake the cookies for about 8-10 minutes.

Let them cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes. Then transfer them to a cooling rack.

Enjoy.
