Sul Sul, Gerbits. Today is another day where I am combining to unusual things and making them work. We are gonna be making a cocoa apple cake.

This cookbook is amazing. I swear, there is no recipe that my mom or I have tried in this particular cookbook, that was bad.

The first thing you are going to do is preheat your oven to 325℉.

In a medium bowl you are going to beat together the eggs, sugar, butter and water until it is fluffy.

In another bowl you are going to sift together your flour, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.

Slowly add your creamed mixture.

Fold in the nuts, apples, chocolate chips, and vanilla until it is evenly distributed.

Spoon it into a greased and floured bundt pan or a 10-inch loose bottom tube pan. I however, used a springform pan, because I thought that was what the recipe was talking about. I am somewhat afraid of bundt pans, and I do not have a 10-inch tube pan. So I used a springform pan and it seemed to be okay.

You are going to bake for 60-70 minutes if you are using the bundt pan or the tube pan. If you are going to use the springform pan like I did, you are going to need to bake it for a little bit longer. Just keep an eye on it, and make sure to do the toothpick test.

The recipe says that you can serve it with whipped topping. But I did not because it was such a dense and rich cake.

This cake was really good. There were so many different flavors, in this cake. It was very interesting. I liked it.

I hope that you liked this recipe. Feel free to check out in the description down below. Vadish, Dag Dag.
