Sul Sul, gerbits. Today we are going to be making a very interesting breakfast. “Concord Grape Crumb Cake” is the recipe we are going to make.

The recipe will be in the description down below.

For the batter you are going to need:

  • flour
  • sugar
  • baking powder
  • salt
  • an egg
  • milk
  • vegetable oil
  • vanilla extract

For the topping you are going to need: grapes. The recipe calls for concord grapes, but it works with your average table grapes too, which is what I used and it was good.

 You will also need:

  • flour
  • brown sugar
  • unsalted butter.

You may think that you can use regular white sugar for the topping. But be careful of doing this because the topping will be more of a cookie, and not a crumb like.

The first thing you are going to is preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with parchment paper, or you can just spray it. Set it aside.

For the batter you are going to sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. And set it aside.

In a second bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, vegetable oil, and the vanilla.

Fold dry ingredients into the egg mixture. Spread the batter evenly into your prepared pan.

Now for the topping, spread the grapes on top of the batter.

In a medium bowl, combine your topping ingredients. Which consists of: flour, brown sugar, and butter.

Toss it with a rubber spatula until large crumbs form.

Sprinkle the crumbs over the grapes.

Bake it for about 30 minutes.

This recipe was really simple. But the only thing that I would do differently the next time I make this recipe, I am going to use brown sugar instead of white sugar.

Even with saying that, my mom taught me to use the ingredients you have. There is no point in going to the store when you only need one thing.

Again the recipe will be in the description down below. I hope that you enjoyed this video. Vadish, Dag Dag!
