She told me that she wanted a strawberry cake because Strawberry is her favorite flavor.
We are going to use one of the cake mixes that I receive on my birthday. Yes, I know what you are thinking “Cordelia you got a lot of cake mixes for your birthday. Did you get anything else?”
The answer is simple, yes! I did receive more than just baking mixes. That was just on my birthday basket. In my house, we get our birthday gifts in the morning. And then we have a basket of our favorite foods. In years past it was our favorite meal, but this year we have been doing different themes. And my theme for my birthday basket was baking.
You are going to preheat your oven to 350℉. And grease 2 cake pans with non-stick spray and flour or parchment paper. Whichever you prefer.
In a large mixing bowl, you are going to mix the cake mix, eggs, milk, or water and oil for about 30 seconds.
And then at medium speed, you are going to mix the batter for 2 minutes.
Immediately pour the batter into the pan.
Bake in the oven for 34 minutes or the time your box says.
Cool it completely before you frost it.
Feel free to frost it however you feel.
