Sul Sul, Gerbits! Today we are going to be making a recipe that I would call “I can’t believe it’s not apple crumble.” It has a surprising ingredient: zucchini.

Is anyone shocked at this point that I have another zucchini recipe? But, don’t be discouraged I am nowhere near done with the zucchini in my fridge.

Preheat the oven to 375 °F.

You are going to need two bowls. One small and one large.

In the large bowl, you are going to combine your diced zucchini with the lemon juice, both granulated and light brown sugar. Granulated sugar is just a fancy way of saying your normal table sugar or the sugar that you put in your coffee or tea. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.

Pour this mixture into a 2quart baking dish. If you don’t know if a particular dish is 2 quarts you can always check the bottom of the pan. That is where the measurement is.

IN the small bowl you can combine all crumble-top ingredients. Using your hands, or you can use a pastry blender if you have sensitive hands. Combine the butter with the dry ingredients, which include brown sugar, flour, oatmeal, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Bake for 45 minutes, which is a normal time for a crisp or crumble. Remove the oven and enjoy it.

It turned out well. Making it taste like an apple crumble. Cain asked me how many apples I put in this dish. I just laughed and beamed with a smile and I showed him with my hands how many apples there were in the dish. He was shocked. I hope you all liked this recipe.
