Hey everybirdy. Today we are making something that I kinda found buy accident. We had a bunch of carrots in the house, and I wanted a more savory side dish with carrots. And I knew that I could roast the carrots because that is what i usually do at the Free Lunch Program that I volunteer at. So I decided to make this recipe.

Before we jump into the recipe we are going to talk about the character in question, Kachina (Ka-chee-na). She is not only the first Natlanese character you meet in the game, but she is also the first Natlan Character that every player has. She is a young child from the first tribe in Natlan, and she is just really cute. I could tell you more about her, but I think you have to do the story to really understand who she truly is. She loves her friends, her nation, and her family.

For this recipe you are going to need:

  • Carrots
  • Olive Oil (yes you can use Vegetable oil or whatever oil you prefer.)
  • Spices of your choice
  • I choose italian seasoning (salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, oregano and others)
  • Bread Crumbs (I have used plain and Italian seasoning. Both work well.)
  • Parm Cheese

Slice your carrots like matchsticks. If you are using larger carrots you can cut them in half. Then you are going to cut them into strips.

Add your oil and your spice to your carrots in a large bowl.

Add your bread crumbs to a separate bowl.

Coat your carrots in the bread crumbs and parm cheese.

Roast them at 350 for about 20 minutes. Making sure to move them around with a spatula half way through.

Enjoy.

The first time I made this recipe was at the Free Lunch Program. And I used a vegetable tray that was just sitting in the fridge. I chopped up all the veggies that were in it, and everyone loved it. The veggies that were in the tray consisted of carrots, cauliflower, sweet Italian peppers, and celery. And yes, all of the veggies were really yummy.

I hope that you liked this recipe. It’s a different way to eat a carrot. Feel free to check out this and other recipes like it. Thank you in advance. See you in the next video.
