Hello, every birdy. Today we are going to be looking at yet another Apple butter recipe. Even though it may be simpler than the previous apple butter recipe, it is still as sophisticated as it needs to be for the character in question.

Kamisato Ayaka (Ka-mi-sa-to Eye-a-ka) is the daughter of the Kamisato Clan. She is a Cyro young lady from Inazuma. She is the person everyone thinks of when they think of sophistication. And she is a dancer.

This recipe’s link will be in the description down below. It comes from a website called “Crystal & Co” and the recipe is “Apple Butter Pie.”

The ingredients you will need are
- ½ cup apple butter
- 2 lage eggs
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups milk
- Pastry for 1 – 9 inch pie crust

The first thing you want to do is prepare your pie crust. Feel free to skip this step if you already have a pie crust. I am not judging anyone.

The only recipe that I use for pie crust is the Betty Crocker Pie crust.
For this recipe you are going to need
- Flour
- Salt
- Shortening
- Ice cold water

Sift together your flour and salt in a large bowl. Then with a pastry blender or two forks add in the shortening until the mixture looks like a bowl of peas. Now you are going to add in your ice water 1 Tbsp at a time. The recipe calls for 3 to 5 Tbsps of ice water. You want your pie crust to have the right balance between flaky and soft. Once it gets to the texture you desire. You are going to gather it into a ball and place it on a floured surface. Flatten it into a disc and wrap it in plastic wrap. Place this in the freezer until you are done with the filling or place it in the fridge for at least 45 minutes.

While the pie crust is chllling you are going to start on your filling.

You are going to preheat your oven to 375℉ and place your pie tin on to a cookie sheet. This helps stop any spillage to get on the bottom of your oven. Trust me. When making a pie you always want the cookie sheet under, or else you are going to have a weird smell every time you use the oven.

In a medium sized bowl you are going to beat the eggs. Add the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and apple butter. And be sure to mix together.

Add in the milk and whisk everything together.

Get your pie crust out of the fridge or freezer and roll it out to the size you want.

Spray the pie pan with cookie spray.

Once the pie crust is in the pan, pour in the filling. Be sure to use a spoon for this spoon, so that all of the ingredients are equally distributed.

Bake the pie for 60-65 minutes at 375 or until the center is set. It will still look slightly jiggly in the center, but if you prick the pie in the middle with a toothpick it should come out clean.

Cool in the pie plate on a wire rack. Do not slice into the pie right away.

Once it is cool, you want to place this pie in the refrigerator before it is served.

I thought that this was a very simple pie, but Oh my gosh was it good. I will probably be making a lot of these three recipes this season. Because you know what they say “ Tiz’ the season” and whatnot. My gosh, we have so many apples this year. Not that I am complaining. There have been years in the past when we hardly got any fresh produce. So having this many is like a godsend.

I hope that you like these recipes. Feel free to check it out for yourselves. See you in the next recipe.
