Sul Sul, Gerbits. Today is another pumpkin recipe. I am a little bit obsessed with pumpkin or just squash in general.

Do you want to know a random piece of information about Pumpkins? They are considered berry. I did not know that until recently. I thought it was funny and interesting.

Today we are going to make a recipe called “Blue Ribbon Pumpkin Bread.”

The recipe and measurements will be in the description down below.

First things first, preheat your oven to 350℉. And grease a loaf pan with non-stick spray.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, you will cream together the sugar and butter.

Add the eggs.

Then add the pumpkin and water. Make sure that you mix it well.

Now add your dry ingredients. Which includes: Flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt cinnamon, cloves, pumpkin pie spice, and raisins. The raisins are optional.

If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice you can make it yourself by combining 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of allspice, and ¼ teaspoon of ginger.

Make sure you do not overbeat the batter.

Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. About ⅔ full.

Bake it for 1 hour for a large loaf.

You can see if it is done with a toothpick.

Quick bread are so easy and fun to make. They can have so many different tastes and just be completely different.
