Sul Sul, Gerbits. After Harvestfest I usually have a bunch of pumpkin leftovers. My family, both the ones I have now and the ones I grew up with, never uses canned pumpkin puree. We use actual pumpkins. The pumpkins that we place on one porch for Spooky day, we use for Harvestfest.

The next few videos are going to be using a bunch of pumpkins.

Today we are going to make some Pumpkin Crinkle Cookies.

The recipe will be in the description below.

I love crinkle cookies because they are easy to follow and make.

The first thing you are going to do is preheat your oven to 325℉. And prepare 2 cooking sheets, however, you prefer. The recipe says to line the cookie sheets with parchment paper. I don’t particularly like parchment paper. So I usually just spray the cookie sheets with non-stick spray. And it works fine.

Melt your butter and set it aside.

In a medium-sized bowl, you are going to whisk together the dry ingredients. Which includes your flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin spice. Set the bowl aside until you need it.

If you don’t have pumpkin spice in your spice rack. You can make it yourself. Combine 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, ¼ of allspice, and ¼ teaspoon of ginger.

Next, you will whisk together your brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla until it is smooth.

Now we are going to add the butter and whisk them together until they are combined.

With your rubber scrapper in hand, fold in the flour mixture until just combined.

Set the cookie dough aside for about 10 minutes.

When the dough is resting you can work on your rolling mixture.

Place the rest of your granulated sugar in a shallow bowl. Add your powdered sugar in a different bowl.

Using a 1 tablespoon-sized cookie dough scoop, ice cream scoop, or measuring spoon. Scoop up the cookie dough and place it in the bowl with granulated sugar.

The dough will be very soft, so it won’t look like a “normal” cookie dough ball.

After you have put it in the granulated sugar, place it in your hand and start to round it.

After it is rounded, place the dough into the powdered sugar and roll to coat.

Now, place the cookies onto the prepared cookie sheet.

There should be no more than 12 cookies on each pan. This is important to note. I am usually the type of Sim who wants to place a bunch of cookies on one cookie sheet.

Bake them in the oven for 14 minutes. And yes, you are going to want to listen to the time on this one. Because the oven is at a lower temperature, it will take the cookies longer to bake.

Once they are done baking, make sure to let the cookies cool for 10 minutes. And then transfer the cookies to a wire rack.

I love crinkle cookies. There is just something so simple about them and so easy.
