Hello, every birdy. Today we are going to be making a recipe that is called “Shrimp Po’ Boys.” This is one of those recipes that is more common in the Southern states of the United States. And not as common where I live. However, my parents being from a part of Califorina that people classify as the most west point of the South. We have every once in a while when we have shrimp in the freezer.
Now, onto the most forgotten character in all of Genshin Impact. Emilie came out a few years ago and has not had a single rerun. She is a self employed perfumist in Fontaine. There is not much to say about her or her character because she really isn’t that well known.
The recipe is really just simply.
You are going to need
- Shrimp
- Flour
- Cornmeal or panko
- Eggs
- Frying seasonings that you may like (salt, pepper, garlic powder, and if wanted another type of dried pepper.)
- Kaiser Rolls (or your choice of rolls)
You will want to have two bowls. One for your eggs and one for your flour mixture.
Crack your eggs into one of the bowls.
Measure out your flour. I want to say you want at least a cup of flour. About a ½ cup of your cornmeal or panko. If you don’t have either. Bread crumbs work great here. And in a pinch if all you have is corn flakes (not frosted flakes) it would be perfect. You just want your shrimp to be crunchy.
Add whatever seasoning you want to your flour mixture. I like to add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Gocchungang (Korean Red Pepper Flakes.)
I use an Air Fryer. I cook them at 350 for about 15 minutes or so. Just enough to have them be not pink.
Let them cook and you can work on your sauce for your sandwiches.
You are going to need:
- Mayo
- Ketchup
- A little bit of hot sauce (Louisna or Valentania well do well.)
Mix this all up and you have your po’ boy sauce.
Add the sauce to the Kaiser rolls. You can toast your rolls if you want to. But you don’t have to.
Add your shrimp and maybe some lettuce or a tomato if you have it.
And enjoy.
I hope that you like this recipe. There are definitely going to be more like this in the future. Feel free to check out some of my previous recipes. Remember to like and subscribe for more unique recipes and storeis. Thank you.
