Sul Sul, Gerbits. Today we are going to be making some of my dad’s favorite cookies. I was thinking about him the other day and wanted to make these. Oatmeal raisin cookies were one of my dad’s favorite cookies.

The measurements along with the directions are going to be in the description down below.

Ingredients you will need:

  • flour
  • baking soda
  • nutmeg
  • salt
  • butter or margarine
  • brown sugar
  • white sugar
  • eggs
  • vanilla
  • oats
  • raisins

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a small bowl, you are going to mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Setting that aside.

In a larger bowl, you are going to cream together the butter and the sugars. Both white and brown, until it is fluff.

Add the eggs one at a time. Then add the vanilla. Make sure that you scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Now you are going to the flour mixture a little at a time until it is incorporated.

Then you are going to fold in the oats and raisins.

Scoop your dough about 1 tablespoon in size. Make sure to flatten it a little.

Bake it for 8 minutes. Or until the cookies are golden brown.

While I was making these cookies I couldn’t help but think about my dad. These were by far his favorite cookies.

And I know that he would have liked them. I hope that you guys liked this recipe. Make sure to like and subscribe for more recipes like this in the future. Vadish, Dag Dag!
