
Peanut Butter Reindeer Cookies
I can't believe I was able to find red hots this last year when I made them. I was so happy because the holiday chocolate candy worked. But they didn't have the same flavor.

Method
- Mix sugars, peanut butter, shortening, butter, and egg in a large bowl.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Heat oven to 375°F.
- Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place about 3 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten in a crisscross pattern with a fork dipped into sugar.
- Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Cool for 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Cool on the wire rack.
